Just finished reading Kite Runner, I have more to say about the book later, but just wanted to share this additional quote:
"America was different. america was river,roaring along unmindful of the past. i could wade into this river, let my sins drown to the bottom, let the waters carry me some place far. Someplace with no ghost, no memories, and no sins.
